COMNET Submits LEED Pilot Credit Application to USGBC

The Institute for Market Transformation (IMT) submitted a Pilot Credit Application to U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).  IMT is suggesting an innovation point be awarded for the use of the COMNET MGP in conjunction with ASHRAE 90.1-2007 Appendix G, for LEED 2009 commercial project submissions: LEED NC, CS, Schools, Retail, Warehouse & Distribution Centers and Hospitality. USGBC encourages proposals for LEED pilot credits to promote the development of the next version of LEED. The LEED Pilot Credit Library is intended to facilitate the introduction of new prerequisites and credits to LEED through stakeholder engagement and collaboration on the testing and analysis of proposed requirements. This process allows USGBC to refine credits through LEED project evaluations before they complete the balloting process for introduction into LEED.
