New version of COMNET XML schema for output reports

Version 1.0 of the COMNET XML Schema for Output Reports is now available for use by vendors planning to use the COMNET Web Portal for automated submissions to USGBC. The portal will be available once USGBC completes its validation testing, which are now nearing completion. By standardizing the electronic format and transfer of these reports, rating authorities will be able to view the same building information and evaluate the project for certification, labeling, or tax credit. The XML schema captures the four standard building reports defined in Chapter 3 of the COMNET Modeling Guidelines and Procedures. Version 1.0 of the output schema is available online at no charge.
